answer
The lowest confirmed landed price is €1,500.28 at UJNG (London). The next cheapest new source is Ricarda (Australia) at €1,561.94 landed.
UJNG — €1,500.28 landed (cheapest)
uj-ng.co.uk lists the Guidi 788Z Black (horse leather, back zip, colour code BLKT) at $1,622.49 USD, tax included. The shop ships free worldwide.
Critical sizing note. UJNG states on the product page: *"all sizes are one size smaller, for example if you are normally 37 select 38."* A shopper who wears EU 40 must select size 41 at checkout. Size 41 is in stock.
How the landed price breaks down (figures from record_find):
- —Item after UK VAT removed on export: €1,157.62
- —Shipping: €0 (free worldwide)
- —French import duty (8% on footwear) + French VAT (20%): €342.66
- —Total landed: €1,500.28
UK VAT (20%) is deducted because the parcel leaves the UK for a non-UK destination. French customs will then apply their own duty and VAT on the declared value.
ricarda — €1,561.94 landed
ricarda.com (Perth, Australia) lists the same black 788Z at $1,379 USD. Size IT40 is in stock, with only one unit remaining. International shipping to Europe is AUD $40 (≈ €24.54).
How the landed price breaks down:
- —Item: €1,180.67
- —Shipping: €24.54
- —French import duty + VAT: €356.74
- —Total landed: €1,561.94
Ricarda does not state that it removes Australian GST on export orders, so no tax deduction was applied. The white 788Z in IT40 is also available at the same price on ricarda.com.
