§ 02the manhunt

Forty boutiques, five marketplaces, no answer.

The item is carried by maybe forty independent shops across Europe, Japan and the US. Each has its own sale calendar, its own odd sizes, its own duty rules.

The same reference may be sitting on resale at half the price, described by a seller who spelled the model name wrong.

Google prices what is advertised, not what is buyable in women's 40 with duty included. It has never heard of FO0236 LL0157. Extensions only react to the page you already found.

Neither hunt was hard because the garment was rare. They were hard because nothing on the web indexes stock by reference and size.

A row appears only if your size is buyable. Each row carries its availability: in stock, pre-order, or the 12-week wait that would have ruined the purchase.

Every hunt watches its reference for 30 days. If your size lands on resale at 3am, that is a dispatch in your inbox, not a tab you forgot to check.

§ 05the limits

What we cannot do.

Where we are unsure of a number, we show the range instead of rounding it into confidence.

  • We cannot sell you the garment.

    You buy from the seller. We take no payment for the item, and no commission on it either.

  • We cannot make a size exist.

    If nothing is buyable in yours, the hunt says so plainly and goes back into your balance.

  • We cannot read every marketplace.

    Vinted, Vestiaire Collective, eBay, Grailed and Rakuten Japan forbid it. Each becomes a doorway instead: your size, prefilled, labelled for what it is.

  • We cannot always resolve duty to the cent.

    Where the rule turns on a material or origin we cannot confirm, we show a range and label it estimated.

  • We cannot promise a price is still there.

    So every price and stock claim names its source and carries the time we read it. There is no countdown on this site.

  • We cannot shorten a wait.

    A 12-week lead time belongs to the seller. All we can do is quote it before you pay it.

  • We cannot bill you monthly.

    There is no subscription. Hunts are bought in packs, and hunts left never expire.
